Registration Process

Registration starts with a screening process to ensure applicants meet rigid standards. Acceptance to the program is based upon the recommendation of the Selection Review Committee.

Scholarship Award Program

The Northwest Law Enforcement Academy Scholarship is awarded to secondary school graduates in recognition of their academic and leadership accomplishments and the desire to pursue a career in law enforcement.

Enrollment Qualifications

  1. Be 18 years of age of age or older
  2. Have Grade 12 or equivalent
  3. Have no criminal record
  4. Be in good health and able to complete physical training requirements
  5. Pass the:
    • Entrance Exam
    • Selection Review Committee

Required Documentation

  1. Driver's License
  2. Grade XII Transcript
  3. Criminal Records check
  4. Child Abuse Registry check
  5. Medical evaluation Form (form supplied by NorthWest Law)
  6. Two reference checks (form supplied by NorthWest Law)
